Best view in Athens! Be sure to ask for a room with a panoramic Acropolis view, as some of the rooms face an interior courtyard, and are nowhere near as good. The view is the reason to stay here! This was our second stay at the St. George for this reason, which has been updated since our first time in 2016. Rooftop pool and outdoor lounge are lovely, and the breakfast area also has commanding views of the city and Acropolis. Great neighbourhood as well, with good restaurants and grocery/wine stores only a short walk away.

The hotel is located on the top of a hill called Mt. Lycabettus. The views are beautiful, but it is not easy to walk down the many steps and hills to the bottom, where most of the shops and restaurants are. You need to take taxis to get back up the hill. Other than that, lovely. Restaurant on rooftop has exceptional views of Athens and the Acropolis.

adjoining rooms were excellent size for our family of 4. views were stunning and rooftop pool has great views. very nicely located in Kolonaki and near to great restaurants and shopping spots.

Very light and bright, hotel also smelled really nice. Rooftop restaurant and bar was very comfortable and has fantastic views of the city and especially the Acropolis. Seemed ‘fresher’ to be up the hill rather than down in the smaller streets of Plaka. Staff were very polite and friendly and helpful with any questions you have.

Comfortable stay in kolonaki, one of athens safest areas. Staff were very responsive to all requests. Views to the city are breathe taking. The location is close enough to shopping precincts, and main city areas without being in the action. Very clean and neat property.

I was quite happy with the hotel, the staff and everything. I love Kolonaki so I enjoyed staying there and will do so again. However, getting back to the hotel when you are out and about is challenging. Greek cab drivers are the worst and often just won't take you. I will stay there again but next time I will sign up for the app where you can call a cab from your phone. The neighborhood is worth it. If you stay there, do take the time to ride up to the top of Lycabetto.

Great location. 30 minute walk to the Acropolis (but you need to go early to avoid a queue) and the view from the top of the funicular behind the hotel is breath taking (you can ride up and walk down). Helpful staff and the 7th floor, with pool and bar is a great place to be. I read a review criticising the plumbing/shower but we mastered that by turning down the water pressure and no problem at all.

We were on a short break from UK for culture and relaxation. St George Lycabettus Hotel was perfect. With a stunning view of the Acropolis enjoyed from our room, restaurant and the roof top pool, it was the best location. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful and particular mention to Joy who looked after us so well by the pool! I had a very good back neck and shoulder massage at the Hotel Spa. All in all a really great stay and we would certainly recommend.

Our room was spacious, even with the child bed in it - and the main bed was a great size. The view from the balcony was amazing and it was very quiet. All the service was great, and we were particularly delighted with the valet parking service which was excellent.

Stunning views of Athens and the acropolis from the front of the hotel including the dinning area and roof top pool. Quiet neighbourhood but good local restaurants, easy to get to by taxi or a short (but steep) walk from the Parliament building. Great breakfast, good room, friendly staff.
